Michael Ryder

Michael Ryder was by far the Bruins biggest off season UFA signing. Ryder is an interesting player. Despite having a bit of a down year under new coaching last season, he led the Canadiens with two consecutive 30 goal seasons prior to the 07-campaign. Ryder who should be entering the prime of his career, could become what Glen Murray was in his prime. He has never played with a playmaker like Marc Savard, and he will most likely ride on the first line with the all star center this year. It wouldn’t be too greedy to expect 35 goals out of the strong forward this upcoming season. He is no Marian Hossa, but still a good pick up.
