Joe Colborne

Complete hit or miss first round pick by Peter Charelli, could be a Joe Thornton type player, could be an absolute but. Definitely has a lot of upside with his size and point scoring ability. He was second in the AJHL in scoring with a line of 33-57-90, and was named Canada’s Junior A player of the year. He has size, 6-5, 190 lb. but definitely needs to fill out his frame before playing the pro game. This is why he chose to attend the University of Denver, and play the shorter college schedule to give him more time in the weight room.

His upside, he is an amazing passer, much like Joe Thornton, and an incredible weapon on the power play.

His downside, he lacks a real physical game, despite his size, and needs to play more physical, especially in front of the net.
